The Cow Story
So once upon a time, there wass a cow named Snorty. Snorty could snort snot and also snot snort at the same time. But there was a risk in snorting snot and snotting snort. "Be careful," Snorty's doctor warned, " times are coming and you get hurt.."
Snorty didn't understand and kept on snorting snot and snotting snort. One day, Snorty started to snort and then suddenly the snot went back up his nose and started going down his throat. Snorty kept on snorting, but the same thing happened over and over. So the snot and snort started to collect at the bottom of his throat.
Snorty started to feel quite clumpy because a clump had lodged at the bottom of his throat. He felt that there was no cure for this clumpy disease and so he sat down waiting to clump up (in other words suffocate). Then a cow passed by and stopped by Snorty. "Are you clumping up?" he asked. Snorty nodded even though he had no idea what clumping up meant. Then the mysterious cow took out a curved metal stick. "Do you believe that I can take that clump out of your throat?" the mysterious cow asked. It was a big stick and Snorty was scared, but he would do anything to get that clump thing out. "I believe," Snorty replied. As he said that, the clump immediately disappeared from his throat. The mysterious cow never even used his stick thing.
"My dear chldren I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense-Jesus Christ, the Righteous one. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world." 1 John 2:1-2
"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." 1 John 5:13-14 |
